About Stronghold Crusader II:
Stronghold: Crusader II is the sequel to the first part of a series of fortress published in 2002. The game was developed by studio Firefly, which partially funded the project with their own funds and partly by donations from fans via the platform Gambitious, so they were able to issue a title on their own.
Although the game runs on 3D graphics engine is the game is very similar to that of previous games in the series. Creators extended the game with new units, new random events, ie tornadoes, or plagues of locusts, rebuilt the game interface and enriched with new animations and more advanced physics. A new feature in the series is the cooperative mode, where two players can manage one castle. Stronghold Crusader 2 will have both historical campaigns and skirmish mode, known from the first series. In the game will be 10 new units, including slave driver, Templar, a healer and a dervish. Players will be able to deal with eight computer opponents, among which will include Caliph, Shah, King of Slaves, Saladin and Richard the Lionheart, the next eight opponents will be made available after the release of the game.
